Within the framework of the 2nd Global Media Forum held in Shusha, a panel discussion was held on the topic "Policies and Initiatives to Build More Resilient Society to Disinformation".

Al-Jazeera-supported panel discussion was moderated by Al-Jazeera Research Center Research Manager Ezzeddine Abdelmoula and featured Al-Jazeera Research Center Media Research Department Head Mohamed Er-Raji, Al-Jazeera Sanad Agency's digital news collection and verification Amr Elkazaz, the head of the department, Thembisa Fakude, the chief executive of the "Mail and Guardian" newspaper, and Salah Negm, the director of the Al Jazeera English news channel.

The participants discussed strategies and initiatives in the direction of building a sustainable society against disinformation, building a more sustainable online media ecosystem on a global scale in order to eliminate the threat of disinformation, the dependence of the spread of fake information on different media platforms and types, and how the media can play a more active role in preventing disinformation.
