The first session moderated by international TV news anchor Maria Ramos hosted director and co-founder of Forward Thinking company Oliver McTernan, American journalist, television, documentary film and debate producer Dana Wolfe, president of "Azad Azerbaijan" MTRK Azer Khalilov, Global Policy Institute (Professor Paolo von Schirach, president of GPI).

The panelists spoke of the development of effective and efficient communication relations, today's role and future of traditional media, difficulties arising in journalism against the background of new trends and new directions that are becoming relevant, as well as the results of the application of digital tools in this field.
