Participants of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum visited the cities of Khojaly and Khankendi.

During the visit, the guests were informed about the history of the city of Khojaly and the reconstruction and reconstruction work carried out after its liberation from occupation. It was noted that Khojaly is one of the cities that has left a deep mark in the memory of the Azerbaijani people, and is also one of the settlements that is being rebuilt and developed today.

Later, the forum participants toured the Victory Park located in the city of Khankendi. The guests were informed that the Victory Arch, one of the main architectural elements of the park, has a special symbolic meaning. The 44 steps leading to the arch represent the 44 days of the Patriotic War. The signs placed in the center of the steps reflect information about the course of the war, liberated settlements and the results of anti-terrorist operations conducted in 2023.
